Today's Agent Skill: Google Business Profile Post Generator

What It Does

Your Google Business Profile is one of the most powerful free marketing channels a local small business has — Google shows your posts to people actively searching for services you offer. But writing a fresh, engaging post every week takes time most owners don't have. An AI agent can generate a week's worth of on-brand Google Business Profile posts in under two minutes from a short brief you provide.

How It Works

The skill accepts your business name, category, current promotions, and any seasonal context, then produces 1–7 ready-to-post Google Business Profile updates. Each post follows GBP's 1,500-character limit, leads with a hook, includes a clear call to action (call, book, visit, or learn more), and is varied so consecutive posts don't feel repetitive.

How to Deploy It

Drop the SKILL.md into your agent's skills folder and trigger it by typing "generate GBP posts" followed by your business details. Compatible with Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Cursor, and Windsurf. Copy the output directly into Google Business Manager or schedule it with Semrush's Social Poster or Hootsuite, both of which support GBP post scheduling.
